Time Travel With Gayle

Always focused on fusing my passions for Art and Science, I worked for innovative companies in the early 1980’s who paved the way for the technology used in digital imaging today. Gayle Rosen Inc, was launched in the late 1980’s. GRI provided custom courseware and training to designers in Fortune 500 in-house corporate advertising departments.

Eventually, my life-long learning journey navigated me to Graduate school, receiving a Masters of Art Education and New Media Technology and graduating first in my class with honors. Continuing my passion for blending dynamic teaching skills and progressive curriculum, in 2014 I was invited to join St Joseph’s Institution in Singapore. My professional development continued as Head of the MakerSpace at Nanyang Girls’ High School, where I became inspired to reach out to more Educators and Makers.

At the beginning of 2020, I rocket launched my newest (ad)Venture, Makerologie, as the Chief Makerologist. My mission is to ignite curiosity and creative ideation through blending traditional + new media technology with the Arts. Infused passion makes learning visible, through relevant discovery of personal, academic, cultural and global questions.

I love teaching anyone that wants to learn, regardless of age. After establishing myself as an educator in the world of professional digital image makers, the time had come to elevate my life long passion for inspiring young learners.

To be a good teacher you have to be a good student. So mid-career, I headed to graduate school and received my Masters in Art Education and New Media Technology at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. I dove head first into an immerse array of learning and professional opportunities. I graduated number one in my class with Honors and was invited to speak at my own commencement ceremony!
